We will host the 250th Marine Corps Birthday Ball Celebration on November 14, 2025 from 5pm-11pm CST at the Renaissance Birmingham Ross Bridge Golf Resort & Spa located at 4000 Grand Ave, Birmingham, AL 35226.
Because of the expected number of attendees, registration will begin at 5:00pm. When you check in you will receive your instructions on your seat(s) locations. A cash bar, cocktail social will take place in the foyer and terrace near the Grand Ballroom. We ask our guests to kindly review the suggested attire for this event, as detailed below.
A cocktail and photography hour will commence between 5pm-6pm in the foyer and terrace near the Grand Ballroom. Ballroom doors will open 15 minutes before the ceremony. We ask that our guests find their seats as soon as the ballroom doors open; the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15pm.
The Ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15pm and will last about an hour. An official military ceremony will commence, followed by a cake cutting event, and wrap up with an address from our Guest of Honor. A southern style buffet will be served immediately following the Guest of Honor’s remarks.
Dinner will be a Southern-style buffet which offers a delightful array of dishes that celebrate the rich culinary traditions of the American South. Guests are treated to a feast of savory and comforting flavors, featuring classic dinner, accompaniments, and dessert options. This elegant buffet option was specifically designed to combined culinary excellence, social interaction, variety of choice, and efficiency to enhance our guests’ experience.
Join us on the dance floor, expand your network through continued conversation, and make new friends. Photographers will be available for final group photos, too.

As the ball is a formal event, a floor-length gown and a classic suit and tie or a tuxedo are appropriate. Remember, don’t be afraid to show individual style, but be sure to select something to match the always impeccably classy Marine Corps Dress Blues.
Evening Dress (Officer/SNCO), Blue Dress A/B (All Ranks), or the service equivalent are the preferred uniforms.
If you prefer to not wear your uniform, it is acceptable to wear a Tuxedo or Business Suit/Tie with miniature medals (optional). Anodized (shiny) or Non-Anodized (not shiny) medals may be worn as directed by service uniform standards.
